I work as Managing Editor at Farafina (Kachifo Limited). I have years of professional experience as an editor, both freelance and within corporate establishments, and have been writing for even longer. As a freelance writer and editor I have successfully carried out projects for both individual and corporate clients, to their satisfaction.
I write short stories and narrative non-fiction, much of which you can read on this blog. I have an MA in Creative Writing from University of Manchester, UK, and in 2013 I won the first ever Etisalat Prize for Flash Fiction. I am an alumnus of the Farafina Trust Creative Writing Workshop (2011) taught by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. My short stories have been published in journals, anthologies and magazines both in print and online, including The Ember Journal and The Manchester Anthology 2012-2013, and are forthcoming in Per Contra and Ploughshares.
